Abstract
Neutron weighted density-of-states measurements of Ba1-xKxBiO3 are presented which show pronounced changes as a function of both temperature and Bi oxidation states. Information is gained on both the structural and metal-insulator transitions occurring with increased potassium doping. Phonon anomalies associated with the appearance of a superconducting energy gap gives strong evidence of electron-phonon coupling and superconductivity via a conventional BCS mechanism.
