Abstract

We report a rare case of intravascular lymphoma presented with superior mesenteric arterio-venous thrombosis. A 63-year-old woman with a history of systemic lupus erythematosus presented with acute abdominal pain and bloody stool. Preoperative CT demonstrated extended ischemia of the terminal ileum with thrombosis of the superior mesenteric vein. Emergency surgery was performed and pathological examination yielded a diagnosis of intravascular lymphoma within the thrombosis in the superior mesenteric artery and vein.
