Abstract
The infrared reflectivity of films with surfaces containing the c-axis is calculated for light polarized along the c-axis. The spectrum shows an oscillatory frequency dependence above the plasma edge due to the interference of the Josephson plasma waves. A strongly anisotropic order parameter explains consistently both amplitude and period of oscillation in the reflectivity spectrum observed in La2-xSrxCuO4 films.
