Interference effects in the resonant photoemission channels to the Ne+ 2p4(1D2)3p2P, 2D, and 2F states in the Ne 1s excitation region

Abstract

The total and partial photoionization cross sections of Ne in the 1s excitation region were presented. The branching ratios to the Ne+ 2p4(1D2)3p 2P, 2D, and 2F states showed strong oscillations in the interresonance region. It was shown that the interference among the ionization processes via different nonisolated resonances were important for this effect.
