Abstract
This chapter describes interaction technologies that are required for the user to give directions to the computer or for the computer to present results to the user. To be specific, we will introduce recent advances in graphical user interfaces, programming by demonstration systems, sketching interfaces, real-world computing, 3D user interfaces, and virtual reality.
