The aim of this work is the investigation of influence of wind farm area on the equitable distribution of minimized curtailment obtained by the optimization problem which calculates the curtailment plan for the wind farms interconnected to the power grid. 3-area wind power profiles has been applied to the optimization problem, so that the annual simulation from April 2014 to March 2015 could be carried out. The equitability of curtailment for wind farms has been assessed by the variation of energy loss of wind farms by the curtailment. It was found that the variation of energy loss of wind farms obtained by the curtailment plan for the next day and the current day doesn't depend on the area of wind farms and the capacity of wind farms. The simulation results demonstrated the versatility of the proposed algorithm for the curtailment in spite of the difference of area of wind farms.
