Abstract

An experimental research is performed in a wind tunnel to clarify the relation between ordered motions and the structure of outer region of the turbulent boundary layer. Our results have revealed that the large-scale structure of the outer region is constructed by some of the ordered motions that are exceptionally large-scaled.
