Abstract

Improvement of the electromagnetic-noise suppressing feature for Fe-Si-Al composite sheets was analyzed by dc magnetic field biasing. It was found that an extremely sharp loss profile for the noise suppression sheet can be realized by dc magnetic field biasing. Effect of biasing was numerically obtained as frequency bandwidth between the maximum and the half of the loss profiles.
