Abstract

We have proposed "attentive workbench (AWB)," an assembly cell that supports the production activities of human workers. Attentive Workbench is composed of an augmented desk interface and sel f-moving trays with the Sawyer planar motors. In this paper, 2nd generation prototype of AWB is realized. Practical assembly support by self-moving trays are carried out for the evaluation of the present system.
