Abstract
Interaction of atomic or molecular systems with intense laser fields was discussed. Identification of the doorway states to ionization of molecules in intense laser fields was analyzed. The analysis of H2+ indicated that the electronic and nuclear dynamics of molecules in intense fields can be estimated by using the charge distribution and potential surfaces of field-following adiabatic states.
