Abstract
We are constructing a large-acceptance germanium detector system (Ge ball) dedicated to hypernuclear γ-ray spectroscopy. Through studies of detailed hypernuclear structure we can obtain information on the spin-dependent AN interactions and investigate modifications of nuclear structure caused by a Λ as an impurity. Experimental plans are described in detail, in particular, for a KEK experiment on 7ΛLi and for a BNL experiment on 9ΛBe, 15ΛN, and 16ΛO.
