Abstract

A low-dimensional organic-inorganic perovskite compound, (C 4H8N2H4)2PbBr 6·2H2O, was synthesized from cyclic amines and PbBr2 by using a hydrothermal reaction. The versatile optical properties caused by the quantum confinement structure were investigated.
