Abstract
The reduction mechanism of NiO into ns Ni was analyzed using thermogravimetry and hygrometry. The effects of the distribution and size of NiO in composite powder on the reduction process was discussed. The Al2O3/NiO powder prepared via ball milling and calcination of alumina/Ni-nitrate mixtures had aggregated with sizes from 1015 micrometers.
