Highly efficient and stable red phosphorescent OLED using platinum complex as guest material

Abstract

We demonstrate a highly efficient and stable red phosphorescent OLED using a platinum complex. The OLED exhibits a maximum external quantum efficiency of about 20% with CIE = (0.66, 0.34) and an expected half lifetime of about 10,000 h from an initial luminance of 1000 cd/m2.
