Abstract

We report experimental results of resistivity, transition temperature and critical field for a new high-T//c superconductor Ba//0//. //5Yn//0//. //5Cu//1O//x. The onset temperature is found to be as high as 100 K and the end point to be 77 K. The superconducting transition has two components, a tail part on the lower temperature side of the transition region and a sharp drop on the higher temperature side. The end point of the higher component is estimated to be 88 K.
