Abstract

Single crystals of Ln2CuO4 (Ln=Pr,Nd,Sm) are investigated by means of high-resolution electron microscopy and electron diffraction. Domains of superlattice embedded in fundamental tetragonal lattice were observed. The basic lattice spacing of the superlattice lengthen as compared with the fundamental lattice. The appearance of the superstructures is sensitive to the oxygen content.
