N2 - Measurements of electrical resistance at high pressure were performed up to 2.5 GPa for the insulating and the superconducting epitaxial Ti4O7 films of Magnéli phase. For the insulating film, the metal-insulator transition temperature increased significantly from ∼150 to 180 K at a pressure of 2 GPa. For the superconducting film, Tc decreased at a rate of 0.7 K=GPa. It is believed that the electron–phonon interaction is sensitive to strains under pressure and plays an important role.
