Abstract

Multifilamentary Nb/Cu-7. 5-at%-Sn-0. 4-at%-Ti wires with two kinds of configurations were fabricated and their superconducting properties were evaluated. An experimental procedure for the measurement of current densities is presented. Plots showing the dependence of the overall current densities on temperature, core diameter of the wires, and the magnetic field intensity are given. Results are presented and discussed.
