Abstract
We measured the high-field magnetization of a single-crystal UCd11 with the cubic structure in magnetic fields up to 55 T and in the temperature range from 1.5 to 20 K. The magnetization for a field along the [0 0 1] direction below a Neel temperature TN = 5.5 K indicates a metamagnetic transition with a small step at 9 T and has a change of the slope in the magnetization curve above 20 T. This magnetization curve is well explained by assuming the six-sublattice spin-structure in which three pairs of antiferromagnetic sub-lattice moments couple each other with an angle of 90°.
