Abstract
[Ni2 (Medpt)2(μ-ox)(H2O)2](ClO4)22H2O is one of the model substances of an S = 1 isolated dimer system. We have performed high-field ESR and magnetization measurements on this material using pulsed magnetic fields up to 55 T. The observed ESR signals and the angular dependence of the critical fields were analyzed in terms of the S = 1 isolated dimer model including the single-ion anisotropy term.
