Abstract

3 cases of liver scar were reported. Arterial phase contrast-enhanced helical CT scan demonstrated mottled enhancement in the peripheral zone of the liver, which was corresponded to liver scars proven by biopsy. MR showed high intensity on T2-weighted and Gd-enhanced images which was corresponded to enhanced areas on contrast enhanced helical CT. Helical CT with high speed injection of contrast media is useful method for detection of liver scar.
