Abstract
Single crystals of Sr14-xCaxCu24O41 with dimensions on the order of 1 × 0.05 × 1.5mm3 (x = 0) and 0.3 × 0.05 × 2mm3 (x = 6.8) have been grown using NaCl as a flux. Anisotropic properties of the electrical resistivity and the thermoelectric power of these single crystals have also been investigated.
