Abstract

Single crystals of Bi-based compounds were obtained by the high-temperature solution growth method using KBr as the flux. The compositions of two typical compounds were determined as Bi2.2Sr1.8Ca1.1Cu2Oyand Bi2.1Sr1.1Ca1.6Cu2Oy, which are close to the chemical formula Bi2(Sr1-xCax)3Cu2Oy. The magnetization experiment shows that the onset temperatures of Tcof the two compounds are 98 K and 83 K, respectively. a.
