Ground-state phase diagram of 2D electrons in a high Landau level: A density-matrix renormalization group study

Abstract

Density-matrix renormalization group study method was used to study the ground-state phase diagram of 2D electrons in a high Landau level. The ground state phase diagram was found to be consisting of three charge density waves (CDW), the stripe phase, buble phase, and Wigner crystal. This was noticed after calculating pair corelation function. The reentrant phase was found to be the two electron bubble phase, after analyzing phase diagram.
