Abstract
Glass forming ability of concentrated solutions of LiNO3 in 1,3-diaminopropane (DAP) was investigated by thermal analysis. Electric conductivity of the 40 mol% LiNO3 solution has been measured in a wide range of frequency and temperature including the glassy state. Electric conductivity is very small and the frequency dependence is observed in the glassy and supercooled liquid state near Tg. The conductivity relaxation time (τσ) is obtained from the frequency dependence of the conductivity with a power law. The system studied may be classified as a coupling system.
