Abstract
Electrical resistivities of [Co(10.8 Å)/Cu(tCu Å)]15 magnetic multilayers(MML) having tCu = 9.8 and 11.7 Å have been measured as a function of magnetic field at high pressure. It is found that the electrical resistivity of these two MMLs shows a smooth temperature dependence below 2.2 GPa and the spin-dependent resistivity for tCu = 9.8 Å decreases with increasing pressure, while for tCu = 11.7 Å, it increases at high pressure. The origins of the enhancement of the spin-dependent resistivity at high pressure are briefly discussed.
