Abstract
Divalent chemical species of group 14 elements are carbenes, silylenes, germylenes, stannylenes, and lead(II) species. The present paper concerns with the copolymerization using a germylene and stannylene as comonomer based on their reducing properties and with their initiating properties of polymerizing some vinyl monomers.
