Generation of Ti: Sapphire laser beam with radial polarization

Abstract

The generation of a Ti: sapphire laser beam with radial polarization is demonstrated by using a c-cut Ti: sapphire crystal as an active medium and a c-cut YVO4 crystal for the selection of the radial polarization.
