G-factor of A in the hypernuclei studied from B(M1) measurement

Abstract

We aim to measure the g-factor of a Λ in the nuclear medium. The g-factor can be measured from the probability of the Λ-spin-flip M1 transition. Using the Doppler shift attenuation method, we can measure it with Λ11B hypernucleus. For this purpose, we have measured γ rays from Λ11B and observed six γ transitions. Among them, the γ ray at 1482 keV is identified as E2(1/2+ → 5/2+) transition.
