Fuzzy crop planning problem based on possibility measure

Abstract

In agricultural management, it is so significant that farms parcel their lands for some crops. Usually, since the total profits of the farms are described as linear functions, we can obtain an optimal crop plan by solving a simple linear programming problem. But as the profit coefficients for crops are fixed after the harvest-time, we should treat them as uncertain values in the sowing period. In this paper, we consider the Crop Planning Problem where the profit coefficients for crops are fuzzy numbers.
