Abstract

Supercritical extraction technology was applied to the separation of valuable components of coal tars. At the first stage, the selection of an optimum solvent was done by the measurement of vapor-liquid phase equilibrium on CO//2-tar derived components system using CO//2 as the supercritical gas. The correlation between calculated and observed data has been carried out by the conventional equations of state.
