In order to establish the life assessment method for the welded modified 9Cr-1Mo steel hot reheat piping, an internal pressure creep test is conducted with a full size test component. As a result, the fracture mode of the component is clarified and toe life prediction method is established. Furthermore, the creep damage detection procedures are proposed.
