Front scattering film with optimized scattering property for reflective LCD

    Abstract

    A spinodal-decomposition-structure film which has a unique light scattering property was discussed. This film was employed to fabricate a front scattering film for the reflective liquid crystal display. The optical parameters were optimized and hence uniform scattering intensity in wide viewing angle range was successfully achieved.
