Four-body CDCC analysis of 6He + 12C scattering

Abstract

To study how halo structure affects on 6He + 12C elastic scattering at 38.3 MeV/nucleon, we propose the four-body continuum-discretized coupled-channels (CDCC) method. In this method, three-body wave functions of 6He nucleus are obtained by Gaussian expansion method (GEM). In this analysis, 6He halo effects are investigated by comparing 6He + 12C scattering with 6Li + 12C scattering.
