Fermi surface study of CeSb in the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic phases

Abstract

We report a de Haas-van Alphen effect study of CeSb in the intermediate-field antiferromagnetic phase and in the high-field ferromagnetic phase. The experimental results are discussed in the light of the p-f mixing model and a new weak coupling model based on a band structure calculation with localized f orbitals.
