Abstract

We have developed fast switching twisted-vertically aligned mode reflective LCD using mortar-shaped pixel structure. We realized axially symmetric pretilt angle In each pixel by the mortar-shaped pixel structure fabricated by the UV pattern exposure and achieved high quality reflective LCD with high reflectivity and wide viewing angle range.
