Exterior Moment Method Analysis of Conducting Scatterers by Using the Interior Green's Function

Abstract

A new method using a Green's function in the interior region of a conducting scatterer is proposed to obtain a mutual admittance matrix in an exterior moment method analysis. A numerical example of a two-dimensional magnetic strip source located on an exterior surface of a perfectly conducting rectangular cylinder shows the validity of the method.
