Abstract
We have measured excitation spectra of exciton luminescence and time response of a σ-conjugated one-dimensional polymer, poly(di-n-hexylsilane), film at 2K. The site selective luminescence near 3.36 eV is measured under the excitation of light with energy lower than 3.528 eV. The time-resolved spectra of the luminescence show that the peak energy of 3.369 eV shifts to 3.360 eV within 360 picoseconds. The site-selective luminescence and the peak shift in the picosecond time region are discussed in terms of the disordered segment model.
