Equal-loudness levels for 60 and 80 phons and thresholds of hearing were measured at frequencies between 1 kHz and 12.5 kHz. The equal-loudness levels for both loudness levels were found to be significantly greater than those of ISO 226 at frequencies above 1 kHz. The thresholds of hearing showed good agreement with the standardized threshold in ISO 389-7.
