Entangled photon generation via biexciton-resonant hyper parametric scattering in a semiconductor

Abstract

We report the experimental realization of the entangled photon generation via biexciton-resonant hyper parametric scattering in CuCl crystal. Polarization correlation measurements and quantum tomographic analysis show that the generated photon-pairs have a high degree of polarization entanglement.
