Electron emission from PH2 produced via fast dissociation of core-excited PH3

Abstract

We have observed resonant Auger electron emission following P 2p → 3e (σ*) excitation of PH3 and, with the help of ab initio calculations, assigned some fine structure to the emission from the P 2p core-excited PH2 fragment produced via fast dissociation.
