Abstract
The efficient synthesis of gold nanoparticles using plasma irradiation in gas-liquid interfacial discharges is carried out. The availability of plasma ion irradiation to an ionic liquid on nanoparticle synthesis was revealed by direct comparison with an electron shower system. lt was found that the ion irradiation generated hydrogen radicals in the ionic liquid, which were effective for the synthesis of gold nanoparticles.
