The stochastic resonance (SR) in a symmetric bithreshold device was studied by varying the coherence of the added noise series. The performance of the system using noise sources was compared with different coherence at normalized amplitude. A signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) was used to determine the amplitude for optimal performance of the Gaussian white noise. The effects of coherence on the quality of the output power spectrum were also measured.
