Abstract
The effects of endocrine therapy on prostate cancer were assessed by using Gd-dynamic subtraction MRI (DSMRI). The 36 lesions showed early enhancement before therapy were treated with endocrine therapy. The criteria used for the assessment of therapeutic effect was ; the degree of early enhancement could decrease with the viability of cancer reduced by treatment. According to this criteria, the sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were 35.7% (5/14), 81.8% (18/22), and 58.3% (21/36). In conclusion, interval decrease of early enhancement could be a indicator of therapeutic effect.
