    Abstract

Rolling is a basic and common metal forming process used in industry. Many raw materials which are used for secondary process are manufactured by rolling. However, mechanical properties of metal plate are affected by rolling process depending on rolling reduction. If the behaviour of metal plate after rolling can be predicted, the behaviour of secondary processing could be predicted. In this study, an analysis method was proposed by combining homogenization method and FEM analysis to predict the change of mechanical properties of copper plate. The Homogenization method was used as a numerical tension-compression test of specimens, of which the deformation history were resumed during rolling as well as tension-compression test based on the FEM analysis in macro scale. A database was composed to describe compressive parts of stress-strain diagrams considering the Bauschinger effect, which was calculated by the homogenization method. Combining these methods, the stress-strain diagrams of rolled plates was described, considering the deformation history during rolling. V-bending analysis was conducted to verify of the prediction analysis. As a result, the proposed method showed better results than that of the conventional FEM considering without kinematic hardening.
