Abstract
The effects of RF plasma field on the growth of carbon crystals were discussed. Carbon molecules in soots produced evaporating graphite electrodes in an atmosphere of inert gases on buckminsterfullerene and giant fullerenes. The electron microscope (EM) images and the diffraction patterns were produced by carbon arc-discharge through plasma field in helium gas. The coalescence growth of carbon particles was accelerated in the plasma field. Analysis shows that the plasma effect played an important role in the growth and structural change of carbonaceous dust in space plasma.
