Abstract

We investigate the dependance of the spin signal in a lateral spin-valve structure Ni-Fe/Cu ohmic junction on the probe configuration. The spin-valve signal is strongly affected by probe configuration because of the non-uniform spin-current distribution due to a wide non-magnetic probe.
