Abstract
We have measured electrical resistivity and magnetoresistance of Co 52Al20O28 insulating granular film under high pressure. It is found that the temperature dependence of electrical resistivity ρ(T) is affected strongly by applying pressure. The results suggest a metallic conductivity at high pressure. Furthermore the tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR) is enhanced by more than 2% at 3.1 GPa and 4.2 K, while no enhancement is observed at 77 K and r.t.
