Abstract
The specific heat and the magnetic susceptibility of a model containing two competing interactions, the two-channel Kondo model type one with the conduction electrons and the single channel one with the low-energy excitation system, such as the phonons, are investigated. Results showed that the specific heat has a non-monotonic dependence having negative value region.
