Abstract
The effect of self-including host substituent upon the inclusion complexation of arylseleno -cyclodextrins with alka-nol guests has been investigated in aqueous buffer solution at 25°C, by using spectropolarimetric titrations, and the results show that the stability constants of the host-guest complexes formed are correlated with the Hammett's o value of the host's substituent.
